Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

This position will support both pre and post sales, will provide hands-on technical leadership, and will manage enterprise-wide projects from initiation to completion for voice and network infrastructures.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide strategic leadership, technical consultation and operational support for all enterprise-wide IT voice and network infrastructure.

  • Performing client consultations including planning, designing, implementing, and supporting the Cisco voice infrastructure

  • Perform current state phone system assessments and develop Cisco Unified Communications architectures based upon industry best practices and the latest Cisco advanced technologies.

  • Utilize effective project management skills to lead strategic infrastructure projects while working with the business and IT to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.

  • Identify, analyze and resolve complex voice and network issues by utilizing expertise and innovative technical solutions.

Qualifications / Requirements:



  • CCIE Collaboration or equivalent knowledge plus experience

  • The Cisco Collaboration engineer must thoroughly understand networking and communications technology and the concepts involved with managing it.  

  • Layer 2, Layer 3, Layer 4 and Layer 7 expertise is necessary. 

  • Knowledge of SNMP, Syslog and various proprietary logging and scripting mechanisms is required.

  • Solid Cisco Voice Skills (Call Manager, Unity Connection, UCCX, Presence, Video, etc)

  • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications applications, including Call Manager, Call Manager Express, Unity, Unity Connection, Unity Express, Presence, and Contact Center Express

  • Experience with IP Telephony protocols, including SIP, H323, and MGCP

  • Experience with Cisco Voice gateways, including technologies such as CUBE, PRI, FXO, FXS, and SRST
